These are the laserdisc images for the Palcom Laserdisc add on for the Japanese MSX Computer, along with the BIOS to emulate the Palcom in openMSX v0.8.0 or above. Quick and dirty instructions for the included emu/bios, this is just how to get playing as soon as possible, not a guide to the emulator: 1) Install OpenMSX v0.8.0 or above. I had a problem with v0.8.1 so I included v0.8.0 here because older versions weren't on the sourceforge page. http://openmsx.sourceforge.net/ 2) Install the included BIOS files - simply unzip it into ../share/machines/Pioneer_PX-7/roms/ wherever openMSX was installed to. Use the included BIOS file only, one I had download elsewhere from the net did not seem to be correct despite the same filenames and did not want to work, it is also not in any of the "BIOS" packages that I have seen despite dozens of others. 3) run openMSX and hit F10 to load the console, type "machine pioneer_px-7" 4) in the console type "laserdiscplayer insert xx/xxxx.ogv" where xxxx is the filename and path. Use ONLY forward slashes and dont have any spaces anywhere in the path or title. 5) hit F10 to close the console, then press the 1 key to choose P-BASIC. 6) type "call LD" when in BASIC and it will start to load 7) to change games, hit F10 and type "reset" to start over since i'm not sure how to quit out of a game :) Hit F9 to toggle "speed up" while loading the disc or to get past intro screens a little faster, you cant skip out of intro screens apparently. Standard controls are arrow keys and spacebar.
